To be eligible for consideration, a student must be a graduating high school senior in good academic standing who attended Bonita Canyon Elementary for at least one full academic year.
The recipient of this scholarship will be selected primarily on the applicant’s ability to effectively communicate in an essay format (one to three paragraphs) the impact Bonita Canyon Elementary School has had on his or her personal and educational growth. Academic achievement, citizenship, participation in school organizations, and involvement in community activities will also be considered during the selection process.
The scholarship award will be presented at the Bonita Canyon Sixth Grade Promotion Ceremony. At the Promotion Ceremony, the scholarship recipient will be asked to give a brief speech to the promoting 6th grade class about their time at Bonita Canyon.
