Red Ribbon Week Oct. 21-25th

Red Ribbon Week October 21-25!  Click for Flyer: RRW Flyer

BC students, parents, teachers will come together to address the prevention of unhealthy behaviors and lifestyles in our youth, and to encourage discussion around how to keep our children mentally and physically healthy and safe.  During Red Ribbon Week, there will be fun activities throughout the week.  Each day, BC students will be competing against other classes to collect the most loose change or dollar bill in the Pitch-In for Prevention Program.  A small portion of the money collected is used by the Irvine Prevention Coalition who supports a safe and caring community through prevention strategies and services designed to encourage healthy choices. The rest of the money is returned to our school and we will be using the funds to upgrade P.E. equipment or plan special activities for the students.
